GROTON — The Town of Groton has released a report by Daigle Law Group, which conducted an outside investigation into complaints concerning the Police Department’s response to a July 11, 2025, incident involving an off-duty law enforcement officer from another jurisdiction and two men filming at his residence.
The report concluded that the allegations against Town of Groton Police personnel were exonerated or unfounded.

“The Town takes these matters seriously and appreciates the thoroughness of Attorney Daigle’s investigation,” Police Chief L.J. Fusaro and Town Manager John Burt said. “We respect the process and accept the findings outlined in his report.”
